zscaler app is not opening

 Zscaler app is used in the below device.

1- Window

2- Linux

3- MAC

4- Android 


1 - Window and MAC -

 Actually, we faced multiple issues with Zscaler so we need to open zsclaer and go into more option, see below screen shot




 Start Packet Capture: If your organization's admin enabled packet captures, you can use this feature when reproducing an issue and use this into wireshark to understand the problem


Report an Issue - if option is enable then user directly send issue to support team or rasie zscaler support ticket


Restart Service: You can click to restart the app. Restarting does not impact security enforcement

Repair App: If you select this option, the app will attempt to repair itself by reinstalling app drivers and services

Clear Logs: You can clear stored logs

Log Mode - we can change logs mode based on the issue there are mutliple logs mode avilable

Error: Logs only when the app encounters an error

Warn: Logs when the app is functioning but is encountering potential issues

Info: Logs general app activity

Debug: Logs all app activity that could assist Zscaler Support in debugging issues


Android and IOS -


we also used the same step for android and IOS, see below screen shot-






Update Policy: You can tap to manually refresh your web security policies and PAC file

Install certificate - Install certificate on your device thought Zscaler

Uninstall App - if you want to uninstall the app you can uninstall it but require the password to uninstall this app.

Reset of options works like a window, if go into the window section and you can understand
